The Mojave Trail Ride was started in 1986 and was sponsored by the Norco Mounted Posse. In 2010, the crew and interested riders formed a non-profit charitable corporation – the Norco Mojave Trail Ride, Inc. – so that we could maintain an equestrian presence in the Mojave Desert and continue to donate the children’s charity that we have supported for several years, the Happy Trails Children’s Foundation supported previously by Roy Rodgers and Dale Evans. Profits from the ride, after operating costs and equipment purchase/repair, are used to support this worthy cause. We are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit.
